Monrovia Arts and ChalkFest

I will be here at this event with Coffee House Writers Group. I’ll be offering a poetry chapbook creation workshop for all ages with Cherisse Yanit Nadal. If you have poems, you can bring them printed out (print landscape and have two columns for the pages). We will have goodies and raffles so stop by!

The event is Saturday and Sunday September 26 & 27 10am-6pm.

More than 50 fine artists and 10 chalk artists will display and demonstrate their work at this beautiful park in Old Town Monrovia. See painting, ceramics, sculpture, photography, jewelry, mixed media, glass blowing and digital art. Listen to live musical and dance performances each afternoon. Taste tempting treats from food trucks. Bid on works of art donated by the artists in the Silent Auction. All proceeds go to support art education in the community.
